Many Hands Thrift Shoppe News:  Summer has been a splendid success at the Thrift Shoppe— new volunteers, generous donations of quality items, lots of sales and people taking advantage of the large selection of items, and a chance to give back to families and friends in need.

Many Hands Thrift Shoppe was started in March of 2016 as an outreach program of First Parish Church. It is community based and dependent upon the work of many volunteers from Berlin and surrounding communities.
Many Hands offers quality clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry at exceptional prices. Thanks to the patronage of the people of Berlin and surrounding towns, we have earned funds to aid in the operating budget of the church and have donated to several charities in local communities and internationally.

Gift Cards Supporting Hope for Housing
At Many Hands Thrift Shoppe we have gift cards on sale for Amazon, TJ Max, Stop & Shop, Dunkin and Target. Buy them at the shoppe and proceeds from your purchase go directly to Hope for Housing, an organization building homes for those in need. We can all use a gift card even if it’s a gift to ourselves!!
Need to get rid of new/unused bras, underwear or socks? One of the organizations we support, Worcester Fellowship (https://www.worcesterfellowship.org), is always in need of new (in the package or with tags) socks, underwear and/or bras for men and women. These can be dropped off in our donation bin and we will be sure to get them to Worcester Fellowship. Another way to support those in need!!
As always, thank you for your continued patronage, donations, and support!

Other News:
We now have gift cards available to local grocery stores, coffee shops, Amazon, and more. Buy a card from us and the funds go to Hope for Housing (a nonprofit organization building houses for local residences in need). Ask at the shoppe for further information.
As you clean out your closet for the winter season, remember that clothing donations can be accepted at any time in the outdoor bin.
We continue to be thankful for our dedicated team of volunteers and all that they do to keep the shoppe running smoothly. Come join us!!

We are Thankful at Many Hands Thrift Shoppe!

Because of a very busy and successful year at Many Hands Thrift Shoppe, we have been able to make generous donations to a variety of local, National and international nonprofit organizations including: Berlin Food Pantry, Fresh Start, W.H.E.A.T. , Toys for Tots, Hope for Housing, Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and Gawou Ginou, a school in Haiti.

We have been able to support a couple of local families the last couple of months with clothing needs after fire disasters. We have also joined together with St.Micheal’s church in Hudson to support families in need through St. Vincent de Paul.
